3HR WORKSHOP 10.30am – 1.30pm on Mondays or 2.30pm - 5.30pm on Fridays.
Cost £95 per person – No Experience Necessary
Minimum 2 students – Maximum 4
This course is the perfect choice If you are short of time or unsure about committing to a full day taster course. We will explain how fused glass works, all the various options you have with this wonderful medium and the choices you have with powders, frit, stringers, murrine and inclusions. You will then have a brief lesson on how to cut glass before we discuss what you will be making and what to consider when choosing your colour options and why.
One firing is included in the course which would complete your work, but should you want to have it slumped into a mould to make a bowl or free-standing S Bend for example, then an additional charge of £15 per firing is applied.
Hot and cold refreshments & biscuits are provided throughout the course.
Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes, wear something comfortable and avoid anything that will drape in your work such as a long necklace or long flowing sleeves.
